The man named as a suspect in the disappearance and suspected murder of Lyle and Marie McCann has been denied bail following a hearing Wednesday in connection with unrelated cases.
In Dec., Travis Vader was given a 33-and-a-half month sentence for charges of arson and break and enter.
Vader currently has ongoing court proceedings but he'll have to wait for those while in the Remand Centre.
Vader's family along with the son and granddaughter of Lyle and Marie McCann were all present in court.
Bret McCann says he is relieved Vader will remain in custody for now.
"We've known about this for awhile and there was always a chance he could get out," said Bret.
Vader is still a suspect in the McCann investigation, but he has not been charged in connection with the case.
