A former Catholic school teacher accused of sexual relationships with two under-aged girls will learn his fate Monday.

Piotr Zaloba was initially charged in March, 2013 after investigators discovered a relationship between a teacher and a 15-year-old girl.

Further charges were added against Zaloba a month later when a 13-year-old girl came forward to police with information connected to an alleged sexual assault involving a teacher.

The former St. Basil Catholic School Language Arts teacher was fired when the first allegations were released.

School officials told CTV News at the time that Zaloba was new to the Catholic school district.

Sentencing has been scheduled at Edmonton’s Court of Queen’s Bench on June 29.
