One man was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries after a fire tore through a mobile home in northeast Edmonton early Sunday morning.

According to officials, at about 6 a.m. crews arrived at the Evergreen Mobile Home Park and found a fully involved fire in one of the trailers.

Edmonton Fire Rescue spokesperson Shani Gwin said the blaze, which started in the back of the trailer, was declared "out" by about 7:30 a.m.

The cause is not yet known and no other details have been released.

The investigation continues.
